Stephanie Dufner// Campaign Advisor
Stephanie has nearly 20 years’ experience in the field of marketing and communications. Her specialties include digital and print writing, internal communications, promotions, social media and media relations.
Most recently, she has worked through PRofessional Solutions working at a national banking association and a communications agency, where she collaborated on an NIH client account, successfully overseeing promotions activities for diabetes management and prevention.
Previously to that role, Stephanie managed social media, media relations and internal communications at the National Office of The ALS Association. She was there when “The Ice Bucket Challenge” happened in 2014, responding to hundreds of queries from journalists and the public-at-large on the Association’s Facebook, Twitter, You Tube and Linked In accounts. While at the Association, she collaborated with its chapters on media outreach and served as editor for two internal publications.
Stephanie holds an undergraduate degree from the University of West Florida, where she majored in the humanities with an emphasis in communication arts. She graduated from Gonzaga University with a master’s in communication and leadership studies. Her thesis focused on gender depictions in digital and print media.
Her interests include animal rescue and education. She has been a member of Soroptimist International since 2009 and Toastmasters since 2014.
During her free time, Stephanie enjoys walking with her Labrador Retriever, working out, cooking and baking.
