Madeira Public Relations developed a comprehensive nonprofit messaging strategy to help All The World’s Kids communicate more clearly about its organization and prepare to promote the debut of its documentary, The Impossible Dream: Carried By The Light (A Future Leaders Journey).
A major part of the engagement was the development of a comprehensive core messaging guide. This work extended well beyond the documentary launch. The guide gave the organization a clear foundation for communicating about its mission, programs, and impact in media interviews, presentations, community outreach, and other forums.
Developing the guide required a thoughtful review of the organization’s work and the audiences it seeks to reach. Madeira helped refine the language All The World’s Kids could use to explain who it serves, why its mission matters, and what distinguishes its approach. The result was a practical resource the organization can continue using long after the grant-funded engagement.
Madeira then applied that messaging foundation to the documentary launch. The Impossible Dream follows local students on a Global Impact Expedition to Cambodia, where they participated in a service project and gained new perspectives on leadership and community impact.
We developed compelling story angles and tailored media pitches that connected the documentary to the organization’s broader mission. These materials supported the immediate launch while also serving as practical models All The World’s Kids could adapt for future announcements and media outreach.
The preparation contributed to a Great Day Live television segment promoting the documentary. The interview gave the organization an opportunity to share the story behind the film and build awareness ahead of its debut.
This work reflects Madeira’s commitment to helping nonprofits and small businesses build internal capacity and strengthen their technical communications skills. By pairing communications strategy with practical tools, Madeira helped the organization build the confidence and infrastructure to continue identifying newsworthy stories and pursuing media coverage long after the grant ended.
Our work with All The World’s Kids was made possible through a grant from Hypatia Collaborative. We are grateful for its investment in helping nonprofits strengthen their communications capacity and expand awareness of their work.
