The National Office of the American Lung Association is working on behalf of the more 1.5 million people in the U.S. facing serious health risks because they do not have adequate access to supplemental oxygen equipment and services.
Together with their partners in the public health community, the Lung Association is working to lobby Congress to pass the Supplemental Oxygen Access Reform or SOAR Act to ensure every Medicare recipient has unhindered access to the correct type and levels of supplemental oxygen needed for them to live full and active lives.

Madeira Public Relations was hired to support this lobbying effort by capturing the personal stories of people whose lives have been impacted by insufficient access to supplemental oxygen.
Lee Fogle's story is the first in the series. A former triathlete and an accomplished entrepreneur, Lee is unable to travel outside of Florida to visit his adult children and grandchildren due to limited access to the supplemental oxygen he simply needs to survive.
